SKY63 loudspeaker features an innovative electro-acoustic design with an exclusively in-house developed DSP that has no parallel.
Components are all MADE IN ITALY, as well as the birch plywood enclosure with two-component polyurethane coating which guarantees an IP55 protection, as required by the most demanding standards.
The all-Italian M3 design team equipped the SKY63 with a 6.5″ neodymium coaxial woofer with 1.4″ HF driver and 2×6.5” ferrite woofers. The second woofers, dedicated to the Low-mids, allow a greater extension and control at low frequencies, taking care of the first 2 octaves. The main coaxial transducer, relieved from the difficult task of reproducing the very low frequencies, increases the power handling with a drastic reduction in the overall system distortion. The careful study of the cabinet and the combination between the amplifier and the transducers guarantees an 85Hz – 18kHz frequency response (-3db) with an 80° conical coverage. The Max SPL (half space) is 130dB.
High CMRR input stage, with a proprietary circuitry, ensures extreme Low and High-frequency noise rejection, preventing interference in the audio and high frequency range (low conducted EMI).
The exclusive Italian DSP (96kHz 24bit floating point) offers a new potential: Hybrid BIQUADS-FIR tuning. Filtering with Biquads and FIR filters provides unlimited possibilities for a linear phase equalization.
The rear panel features a Power inlet and outlet, Combo XLR IN and an XLR OUT plus a Pushbutton with the possibility of recalling 5 factory presets to suit every type of use. The loudspeaker features every kind of protection systems: Thermal, Short Circuit, Overload.
Totally Made in Italy class-D amplifier offers 2400W RMS distributed to the drivers. Each voice coil is driven by a single amplifier, the advantages of this choice are enormous in terms of tuning and control, each transducer is driven individually as a separated entity: EQ, alignment, and Dynamic control become a prerogative of each one. The use of Italian top-of-the-range speakers, specifically chosen for the purpose, guarantees a listening experience that is always pleasant and never fatiguing.
The cabinet accommodates a 35 mm stand and M8 inserts for rigging; the 15/10 sheet metal grille is powder-coated with a dust-proof and moisture-proof inner lining. The handle is integrated on top of the cabinet.
